Silly Hat

This hat is so ridiculous that upon seeing it one opposing card immediately falls to the ground and laughs hysterically until next turn, unable to do anything else except defend itself.

The Universal Collectable Card Game
designed for
Player Created Content

This site is here to show what a truly Open computer card game could be. Here are endless possibilities for expansion, modification and tweaking. The company that produces this game can come out with many expansion decks for players to buy without needing lots of programmers. Players can construct their own cards, assemble their own decks, apply handicaps for leveling the playing field among players of different skill levels, yet keep the game balanced and consistent.

This is accomplished by using a point system for every aspect of a cards creation that regulates how the card is played in the game, allowing people the ability to make almost any card they desire without disrupting the game balance. For instance, powerful cards take a lot more resources to bring into play while low level cards are easy to bring in, and cards that have a long-lasting effect cost more than one-shot instants.

While the basic attributes of the cards are uniform and standardized, the images and descriptions are limited only by the imagination of the people creating them. This allows the game to play consistently and balanced regardless of who makes the cards, but still give the players a sense that they are playing from completely different decks. As an example, consider the following three cards. They all do the exact same thing, prevent a target card from taking action for a turn, and cost the same amount to bring into play, but the description and images make all the difference.
